Constructed with class 5 stranded copper conductors (per EN 60228, IEC 60228), it offers excellent flexibility and resistance to bending. Conductors are numbered for easy identification, while a metallized foil shield with grounding braid minimizes electromagnetic interference. Insulation and outer sheath are made of PVC, providing protection against environmental factors. The cable is rated for operation at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C in fixed installations and from -5°C to +80°C in moving installations. Minimum bending radius is 132 mm for moving installations and 66 mm for fixed installations.

Safety and compliance with standards

The BiT 500 cable complies with the requirements of PN-EN 60332-1, EN 60332-1, IEC 60332-1, and PN-EN 50575 (CPR), ensuring safe operation. It also holds a fire-resistant certification according to IEC 60332-1-2. The fire reaction class is Eca, indicating limited flammability and low smoke emission. Special PVC formulation provides resistance to various chemicals.

This cable has a rated voltage of 300/500 V and contains 18 conductors of 1.0 mm² cross-section. Conductors are made of stranded copper, insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and enclosed in an outer PVC sheath. The outer diameter is approximately 13.2 mm, with a weight of about 295 g/m. The shield consists of a metallized foil with a grounding braid for enhanced safety.
