Construction and properties

The BiT 500 H 2x1.5 cable is characterized by a construction adapted to demanding working conditions. Made of class 5 stranded copper conductors, it provides good conductivity and flexibility. The cores are insulated with special PVC, which guarantees high resistance to mechanical and chemical damage. In addition, the cable has a foil screen, which minimizes electromagnetic interference. An important aspect is also the absence of halogen in the materials, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases. The Cca reaction to fire class confirms its compliance with safety standards.

The minimum bending radius of 34.5 mm for fixed installations and 69 mm for movable installations ensures comfortable work during installation. The cable meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-3-24 standards regarding fire resistance and IEC 60754-1 and IEC 60754-2 standards confirming the absence of halogen in the materials. Acidity class a1 further emphasizes its high quality and durability. The conductor resistance is 13.3 Ω/km at 20°C. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 6.9 mm and its weight is approximately 74 kg/km.
