This two-core HDGs cable, with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², is designed to ensure continuous power supply in fire-hazard situations. Its construction, based on copper conductors insulated with silicone rubber and enclosed in a halogen-free sheath, guarantees high temperature resistance and no emission of toxic gases during combustion. This cable is used in installations requiring operational integrity under fire conditions, such as alarm systems, emergency lighting, and smoke extraction systems.

Construction and properties

The cable exhibits high fire resistance, certified by FE180 classification (insulation integrity for up to 180 minutes) and PH120 classification (system functionality for at least 120 minutes under fire conditions). Made of copper, it ensures excellent electrical conductivity. The halogen-free outer sheath minimizes the risk of toxic fume generation during combustion, enhancing safety for occupants and firefighters. The cable is intended for fixed indoor installations. It complies with EN 60332-3-24 standard for fire resistance testing of cables. Additionally, it meets the CPR fire reaction class B2ca-s1a,d0,a1.
