Fire-resistant cable for demanding installations
The HDGsżo FE180/PH120/E90 cable is an advanced power solution designed for use in places where maintaining power continuity in fire conditions is crucial. This cable, manufactured by BITNER, is distinguished by its high fire resistance and low emission of toxic gases during combustion, making it an ideal choice for installations in public buildings, industrial facilities, and anywhere where higher safety standards are required.
Construction and properties
The cable consists of single-wire copper conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², insulated with ceramic silicone rubber. The conductors are surrounded by a polyester tape and protected by an outer coating of a halogen-free polymer mixture in red. This construction provides not only high temperature resistance (up to 90°C for working conductors and 250°C during a short circuit) but also minimizes the risk of toxic fumes in the event of a fire. Additionally, the presence of a protective conductor (yellow-green) increases safety. The cable diameter is approximately 9.6 mm, and its weight is approximately 136 kg/km.
