The HTKSH 10x2x0.5 cable is a halogen-free telecommunication station cable, designed for alarm systems and connections of telecommunication devices and data processing. It is suitable for dry, indoor installations in a moderate climate. The cable construction, using single-wire copper conductors and halogen-free insulating materials, ensures not only high signal transmission quality but also increased safety in the event of a fire.

Construction and properties

The HTKSH cable is characterized by a careful construction that affects its durability and functionality. Single-wire copper conductors of class 1 with a diameter of 0.5 mm provide good electrical conductivity. The insulation made of halogen-free plastic minimizes the risk of releasing toxic gases during combustion – important for the safety of users and installers. Twisted pairs of conductors, wrapped with polyester tape, reduce electromagnetic interference and improve signal quality. The whole is surrounded by a coating of halogen-free thermoplastic material, resistant to flame propagation.

It is worth remembering the conductor cross-section of 0.5 mm², which is optimal for many telecommunication applications. The cable has 20 conductors, which allows for the implementation of complex installations with multiple circuits. The operating temperature range from -40°C to +80°C guarantees reliability in various conditions. The minimum bending radius is 90 mm (10 x cable diameter), which facilitates installation and cable routing in tight spaces.
