Fire-resistant telecommunication cable – reliability and safety
The HTKSH 2x2x0.8 telecommunication cable is a solution designed for installations where maintaining communication continuity is crucial, even in the event of a fire. The cable's construction, incorporating halogen-free materials, minimizes the emission of toxic gases during combustion, which translates to increased safety for users and installers. The conductor cross-section of 0.8 mm² provides adequate performance for typical telecommunication applications.
Construction and properties
The cable features a 2x2x0.8 construction, meaning it contains four conductors (two paired sets of two conductors). Made from high-quality materials, it meets stringent fire resistance standards – reaction to fire class Cca-s1a,d1,a1. This guarantees that, in the event of a fire, the cable will not contribute to its spread. Additionally, the cable shielding minimizes electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission.
Application and benefits
The HTKSH 2x2x0.8 cable is used in:
- Telecommunication installations in public buildings (schools, hospitals, offices).
- Alarm and fire systems – ensuring continued operation in critical situations.
- Computer networks – stable data transmission even in difficult conditions.
- Industrial buildings – resistance to external factors and mechanical damage.
Thanks to the use of halogen-free materials, the cable is safer for the environment and human health. Insulation resistance at a minimum of 500 MΩ/km ensures reliable operation of the installation for a long time. Capacitance of 120 nF/km allows for efficient signal transmission over longer distances. AC 1500V and DC 2250V voltage test confirms the high quality of insulation and safety of use.
