Fire-resistant telecommunication cable HTKSH 3x2x0.5 – reliability and safety in installations
The HTKSH 3x2x0.5 cable is a halogen-free station telecommunication cable, designed for a wide range of applications in alarm systems, telephone systems and data transmission. The cable's construction, using copper single-wire cores and halogen-free insulation, ensures not only high signal quality but, above all, increased safety. The halogen-free cabling minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire, which is crucial for protecting health and life.
Construction and properties
The HTKSH cable is characterized by a careful construction, designed with durability and reliability in mind. Copper cores with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² guarantee adequate conductivity, and insulation with halogen-free plastic provides resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors. The cable bundles consist of pairs of cores with a defined color scheme (according to PN-92/T-90321), which facilitates the identification of individual connections during installation and servicing. The cable core is twisted pairs wrapped with a polyester tape – this construction minimizes signal interference. The outer coating made of thermoplastic halogen-free plastic further protects the cable against external factors and the spread of fire.
Applications and benefits
This cable is used in installations:
- Alarm systems – safe transmission of alarm signals in the event of a fire.
- Telephone systems – reliable telephone connections in residential and commercial buildings.
- Teletransmission systems – data transmission in monitoring and automation systems.
- Information processing – connections within data processing devices.
Why choose the HTKSH cable?
- Safety: Halogen-free construction minimizes the emission of toxic gases during a fire.
- Durability: Copper cores and high-quality insulation ensure long-term operation.
- Reliability: Twisted pair construction reduces signal interference.
- Versatility: Wide range of applications in various telecommunication systems.
- Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of the ROHS directive and has a CE mark, confirming compliance with European safety standards.
- Flexibility: Minimum bending radius is 65 mm (10 x outer diameter), which makes it easy to lay the cable even in tight spaces.
- Resistance to working conditions: Designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C and a minimum laying temperature above -10°C.
