Fire-resistant telecommunication cable HTKSH FE180/PH90/E90
This telecommunication cable, designated as HTKSH FE180/PH90/E90, is designed to provide reliable communication even in extreme conditions. It is a fire-resistant, halogen-free cable that meets stringent safety standards. Intended for installation in places where high fire resistance and circuit integrity during a fire are required.
Construction and properties
This cable is characterized by a 1x4x2.3 mm² construction, which means a single core with four conductors of 2.3 mm² cross-section. Made of copper conductors class 1 (according to EN 60228 and IEC 60228 standards), it provides good conductivity and connection reliability. Additionally, the use of halogen-free materials minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire, increasing the safety of users and installers.
The cable has been tested according to DIN 4102 part 12 and can be used in cable routes E90 as part of an E90 cable assembly. This is crucial for buildings and installations where the highest standards of fire protection are required. The AC test voltage is 1500V and DC 2250V, and the insulation resistance is at least 500 MΩ/km. The cable capacitance is 120 nF/km.
Applications and benefits
- Telecommunication installations: Ideal for telephone networks, alarm systems and other applications requiring reliable data transmission.
- Public buildings: An excellent choice for hospitals, schools, hotels and other facilities where fire safety is paramount.
- Industry: It will work in industrial plants exposed to high temperatures or fire risk.
- Fire propagation prevention: Non-flame propagation both on a single cable and on a cable harness provides additional safety.
- Maintaining electrical functions during a fire: Ensures the continued operation of alarm and evacuation systems even in the event of a fire (according to EN 50200 and DIN 4102-12).
- Wide operating temperature range: The ability to operate at temperatures from -25°C to +70°C (mobile installations: -5°C to +50°C) guarantees reliable operation in various environmental conditions.
- Easy installation: The minimum bending radius for permanent connections is 10 x cable diameter, making installation easier even in tight spaces.
