Fire-resistant telecommunication cable – reliable communication in harsh conditions

This halogen-free screened telecommunication cable, designed for applications requiring high fire resistance, is a solid choice for both professional installers and end users. The HTKSHekw cable is designed to ensure safe and uninterrupted signal transmission in various conditions.

Construction and properties

The cable is distinguished by its construction based on twisted pairs of wires, which minimizes interference and ensures stable data transmission. The wires are arranged parallel to each other, and around the core there is a polyester tape, which further protects the wires. A key element is the screen in the form of aluminum foil laminated with an earthing conductor with a diameter of 0.4 mm – it provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference. The use of halogen-free materials increases safety in the event of a fire, limiting the emission of toxic gases.

Application and parameters

The HTKSHekw cable is used in telecommunication installations where high fire resistance and protection against interference are required. It is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to 80°C, and the minimum installation temperature is -5°C. The available configuration 12x2x0.8 means 12 pairs of wires with a cross-section of 0.8 mm². Wire colors comply with PN-T-90321:1992.
