Fire-resistant telecommunication cable – safety and reliability of installation
HTKSHekw 2x2x1.0 cable is an advanced solution for installations requiring a high level of fire safety. Designed for use in alarm systems, emergency lighting, teletransmission systems, and fire alarm systems, it ensures continuous operation even in extreme conditions. The cable's construction, with a screen and halogen-free coating, minimizes the risk of fire spreading and the emission of toxic substances during a fire.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by copper conductors of class 1 (according to EN 60228 and IEC 60228) with a cross-section of 1 mm². Four cores provide flexibility in installation design. A static screen (ekw) effectively protects against electromagnetic interference. The use of halogen-free materials guarantees the absence of corrosive gas emissions during combustion, which is crucial for protecting health and equipment. Additionally, the cable meets stringent fire resistance standards – FE180 (insulation durability for 3 hours) and PH90 (function maintenance for at least 90 minutes).

The HTKSHekw 2x2x1.0 cable is ideal for indoor installations where high fire resistance and the absence of toxic gases are required. It is particularly recommended for:

The cable is intended for permanent installation in rooms protected by sprinklers. It can be laid at a temperature of -5°C, and the operating temperature ranges from -25°C to +70°C. Insulation resistance is minimum 500 MΩ/km, and capacitance is 150 nF/km. Rated voltage is 1500 V AC / 2250 V DC.
