This telecommunication cable, designated as HTKSHekw FE180/PH90/E90, is designed to provide reliable communication even in extreme conditions. It is a fire-resistant, halogen-free cable intended for installation in places where high fire resistance and minimal release of toxic gases during a fire are required. Its construction and materials guarantee the maintenance of electrical functions in the event of a fire, which is crucial for alarm, evacuation and fire protection systems.
Construction and properties
This cable is characterized by copper working conductors of class 1 (according to EN 60228 and IEC 60228 standards). It has a foil screen that provides protection against electromagnetic interference. The cable construction is based on the concept of paired, triple or quadruple cables, which facilitates its installation and organization in telecommunication systems. The version 1x4x1.4 means a single cable with four conductors with a cross-section of 1.4 mm².
The HTKSHekw FE180/PH90/E90 cable meets stringent standards for fire resistance (IEC 60331) and maintaining electrical functions during a fire (EN 50200, DIN 4102-12). It is also halogen-free, which means that it does not release toxic gases when burned – important for the safety of people and the protection of the environment. In addition, the cable does not spread flames on a single cable or on a cable harness.
Application and operating parameters
This cable is used in both internal and external installations (working conditions must be taken into account). It can be used in public buildings, data centers, industrial facilities and anywhere where high fire resistance and continuous operation of communication systems are required. Designed for operating voltage 150/250V and withstands voltage test at 1500V AC and 2250V DC. Insulation resistance is minimum 500 MΩ/km and capacitance 150 nF/km. Minimum bending radius for fixed connections is 10 times the cable diameter. Operating temperature ranges between -25°C and +70°C for stationary installations and -5°C to +50°C for mobile installations.
