This cable features a robust construction utilizing Class 1 or 2 copper conductors (compliant with EN 60228 and IEC 60228 standards). Designed for use in installations with a voltage rating of 0.6/1 kV, it withstands a voltage test of 4 kV. Thanks to its halogen-free materials, it emits minimal toxic substances during fire, significantly enhancing safety for people and equipment. Additionally, the cable meets stringent standards for flame non-propagation, both on single cables and in cable bundles. It holds a fire resistance certification (IEC 60331) and maintains electrical functionality during fire conditions (EN 50200, DIN 4102-12).
Applications and operational parameters
The NHXCH FE180/E90 cable is suitable for both fixed and mobile installations. It can be operated at temperatures ranging from -5°C to +90°C (fixed installations) and from -5°C to +50°C (mobile installations). The maximum conductor temperature during normal operation is 90°C, and up to 250°C during short-circuit conditions (up to 5 seconds). The minimum bending radius for fixed installation is 15 times the cable diameter. The cross-sectional area of the conductor in this model is 25 mm², with a total of 2 cores. The cable is designed for indoor installation.
