The cable stands out with a construction of three cores with a cross-section of 25 mm², which provides sufficient current capacity for various applications. Made of copper cores class 1 or 2 (according to EN 60228 and IEC 60228 standards), it is characterized by high flexibility and ease of installation. Additionally, the cable has properties that limit the spread of fire both on a single cable and in a cable harness, and is also fire resistant according to IEC 60331.

Construction features and operating parameters

The NHXCH FE180/E90 cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range. During fixed installation, it can operate at temperatures from -5°C to 90°C, while in mobile installations this range is from -5°C to 50°C. The maximum temperature of the cores during operation is 90°C, and during a short circuit (up to 5 seconds) – as much as 250°C. The operating voltage of the cable is 0.6/1kV, and the test voltage is 4kV. The minimum bending radius for fixed connections is 15 times the cable diameter.

It is worth emphasizing the halogen-free construction of the cable, which minimizes the risk of generating toxic and corrosive gases during a fire, increasing the safety of users and facilitating evacuation. In addition, the cable maintains electrical functionality during a fire, which is in accordance with EN 50200 and DIN 4102-12 standards.
