Construction and application

The YHKGXSYN cable is distinguished by its solid construction, which guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation. It consists of copper conductors with a cross-section of 25 mm², surrounded by cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation. Each conductor has an individual screen, which minimizes electromagnetic interference. In addition, the cable is equipped with a general screen and armor with lacquered or galvanized steel tapes (depending on the version), which provides mechanical protection and increases resistance to damage. A protective cover made of flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride further increases the level of safety.

This cable is primarily used in:

• Powering electrical equipment in surface, borehole and underground mines.
• Installations in non-metallic and methane fields.
• Areas at risk of methane explosion (workings “a”, “b”, “c”) and coal dust (classes “A” or “B”).
• Workings with an inclination angle of up to 45° (in versions with steel tapes) or up to 90° (in versions with steel wires).
