Building automation systems cable E-BUS

This cable is designed for data transmission in building automation systems, such as EIB and KNX bus systems. It is suitable for both new and modernized installations. Thanks to its construction with four 0.8 mm² cross-section cores, it ensures a reliable connection and stable communication between devices. The green PVC coating makes it easy to identify the cable in the installation.

Construction and application

The BiT E-BUS cable is characterized by a solid construction, ensuring durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Made of copper cores insulated with PVC, it offers good flexibility and ease of installation. It is primarily intended for indoor installations, in dry and closed rooms. Its applications include:

• Connections of devices in lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning control systems.

Safety and compliance with standards

The cable meets the EN 13501-6 standard in fire reaction class Eca, which guarantees limited flammability and smoke emission in the event of a fire. This means that in the event of ignition, the cable will not contribute to the rapid spread of fire or the release of toxic substances. In addition, the outer diameter of the cable is approximately 5.3 mm, which facilitates its routing in existing installations. It should be remembered that the cable is not intended for underground installations.
