Telecommunication cable YTKSYekw – reliable internal installation

The YTKSYekw cable is a shielded station telecommunication cable designed for building solid and interference-resistant indoor installations. It is suitable for connecting telephone, telegraph, transmission devices and information processing systems. The cable's construction ensures stable signal transmission and minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference.

Construction and application

This cable is characterized by a careful construction using single-wire copper conductors insulated with polyvinyl chloride. These conductors are twisted in pairs and then in layers, ensuring order and facilitating identification. Additionally, the cable has a screen made of polyester tape coated with aluminum and a tinned copper grounding conductor – a key element ensuring effective interference suppression. The whole is surrounded by a durable polyvinyl chloride coating, resistant to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors.

Thanks to this, the YTKSYekw cable finds wide application in:

Characteristics and user parameters

The YTKSYekw cable has been designed with durability and reliability in mind. The solid construction with copper conductors and high-quality insulating materials guarantees long-term use even in difficult conditions. The nominal conductor cross-section of 0.8 mm² provides adequate conductivity for telecommunication signals, and the number of 28 conductors enables the implementation of extensive installations. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +70°C, and the minimum laying temperature is -10°C. The maximum operating voltage of the cable is 150V.

It is worth paying attention to a few important parameters:

• Shielding: The use of an aluminum screen with a grounding conductor minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference on the transmitted signal, which is particularly important in environments with high interference levels.
• Flexibility: Despite its solid construction, the cable retains adequate flexibility, making it easier to lay and install. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter (approximately 155mm).
• Safety: The polyvinyl chloride coating is self-extinguishing and fire-resistant according to EN 60332-1-2, which increases safety of use.
• Compliance with standards: The cable meets the requirements of the RoHS directive and has a CE mark, confirming its compliance with European quality and safety standards. The fire reaction class is Eca (CPR).
