The BiT 1000 2(St) FR cable is a flexible, multi-core control cable designed for installation in control and signaling circuits. This means that in the event of a fire, the cable limits the spread of fire throughout the cable installation, increasing the safety of people and property. Additionally, the PVC coating is oil-resistant and resistant to UV radiation, allowing the cable to be used in harsh environmental conditions.

Construction and application

The BiT 1000 2(St) FR cable has been designed with versatility in mind. It consists of flexible copper conductors class 5 (according to PN-EN 60228), insulated with PVC in various colors for easy identification. Pairs of conductors are shielded with metallized foil with an earthing wire, and the entire core is additionally protected with a common foil screen with an earthing wire. The whole is surrounded by a PVC coating with high mechanical and chemical resistance.
