Steel inspection hatch – reliability and durability

This square inspection hatch with dimensions of 400x400 mm is a solid solution for securing access to underground installations. Made of stainless steel, it provides long-lasting protection against corrosion and mechanical damage. The ribbed cover guarantees a firm grip and safe use for both installers and end-users.

Construction and materials

The hatch is made of stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304) with a thickness of 2 mm, which translates to high strength and resistance to deformation during assembly and operation. Additional reinforcement with rods inside the flap increases its rigidity and load capacity. Tightness is ensured by an EPDM gasket, which, under the weight of the hatch, perfectly adheres to the frame, eliminating the risk of water or gas leaks. Two lifting bolts facilitate safe and convenient opening of the hatch.
