Stainless steel reduction for drainage systems

This stainless steel reduction, made of acid-resistant steel AISI-316L (1.4404), is used to change the diameter of pipes in the BLUCHER EuroPipe drainage system. It allows connecting a 110 mm diameter pipe to a 160 mm diameter pipe, using a socket and push-fit connection. The eccentric design ensures convenient installation and adaptation to the existing installation. The included EPDM gasket guarantees a tight and durable connection.

Application and features of the BLUCHER EuroPipe system

The BLUCHER EuroPipe system, in which this reduction is used, is characterized by high resistance to corrosion and the action of various chemical substances. The use of austenitic stainless steel (AISI-316L or AISI-304) makes it an ideal solution for both simple home installations and demanding industrial environments – from the food and pharmaceutical industries, to shipyards and catering establishments. Acid-resistant steel (type 1.4404) provides increased resistance to acids, although it should be remembered that its resistance to media containing chlorine is limited.
