Stainless steel reducer 50x75 eccentric, plain end/socket with EPDM gasket, acid-resistant steel type AISI-316L (1.4404) 850.075.050 S
Stainless steel reduction for drainage systems
This reduction, made of stainless steel AISI-316L (1.4404), is used to change the diameter of pipes in the BLUCHER EuroPipe drainage system. It allows connecting a 50 mm diameter pipe to a 75 mm diameter pipe, using a push-fit socket connection. The design with a "bare end" on one side and a socket with an EPDM gasket on the other ensures tightness and easy installation.
Construction and application
This reduction is an element of the BLUCHER EuroPipe system, which is characterized by high resistance to corrosion and the action of various chemicals. Made of thin-walled steel sheet, it is lightweight and easy to process. It is ideal for installation in places requiring hygiene and resistance to aggressive environments – from sanitary installations, through the food industry, to public utility facilities. Stainless steel (AISI-316L) provides increased resistance to acid exposure, although its limited resistance to media containing chlorine should be remembered.
Key features and benefits
- Durability and resistance: Made of stainless steel AISI-316L guarantees long life and corrosion resistance, even in harsh conditions.
- Tightness: The EPDM gasket ensures a tight connection, minimizing the risk of leaks.
- Easy installation: The push-fit connection system eliminates the need for welding, which speeds up and simplifies installation.
- Hygiene: The smooth surface of stainless steel prevents the accumulation of dirt and makes cleaning easier.
- Versatility: Suitable for a wide range of applications – from home installations to industrial ones.
- Ecology: Stainless steel is a 100% recyclable material.
- Compatibility: Designed for use with BLUCHER EuroPipe drainage pipes with diameters of 50 mm and 75 mm.
The BLUCHER EuroPipe system is distinguished by a low coefficient of thermal expansion – products maintain their shape regardless of the ambient temperature. This translates into stability of the installation for many years of use.
