Modern radio heat meter for apartments and small houses
The HYDROCAL M4 heat meter is a compact measuring device designed for the precise billing of thermal and cooling energy in residential installations. Thanks to its built-in radio module, it enables remote data reading without the need for physical access to the device.
Advanced measurement technology
At the heart of the heat meter are high-precision digital temperature sensors, which, combined with water flow measurement, ensure very accurate energy billing. Non-magnetic transmission between the flow transducer and the electronic unit guarantees reliable operation and full protection against attempts to influence the device with a magnetic field.
The design has been developed in accordance with the latest trends in heat metering, offering a compact housing with a length of only 130mm. The electronic unit can be rotated by 360°, which significantly facilitates installation and reading of indications.
Radio functionality and system expansion
The built-in WMBUS/LORA module allows for wireless communication with the HYDROLINK remote reading system. This makes it possible to obtain data via radio without the need for physical access to the heat meter.
The device also offers expansion possibilities - after installing an additional IR-MB-PULSE module, it is possible to connect two pulse water meters, which significantly extends the scope of the system's applications.
Key operating parameters
The heat meter operates in the diameter range DN15-DN20 (1/2"-3/4") with a flow dynamic qi/qp of 1:50. A nominal flow Qp=2,5 m³/h at a maximum operating temperature of 90°C ensures an appropriate measuring range for typical residential installations.
The device displays comprehensive measurement data: current heat consumption in kWh/GJ, consumption history with dates, instantaneous flow of the heating medium, cumulative flow volume, and supply/return temperature along with the temperature difference. Instantaneous energy consumption is presented in kW.
Lithium battery power provides a projected lifespan of 10 years, eliminating the need for frequent power source replacement. The IP65 protection class guarantees reliable operation even in difficult environmental conditions.
