MB-PULSE is a module converting a pulse signal (REED or Open Collector) to the M-BUS standard (EN13757-3). It enables integration of older pulse meters – water meters, gas meters, electricity meters or heat meters – with modern reading systems using the M-BUS protocol. This is an ideal solution for both installers modernizing existing installations and users wanting to automate meter readings and monitoring of media consumption.
Universality and flexibility in every detail
The converter allows you to connect up to four pulse meters from any manufacturer and caliber. Each of them can be assigned a unique address, which facilitates identification and reading of data from individual devices. Address configuration is done using BMBUS software and the MB-MASTER module from B METERS. This makes integration simple and intuitive. The module is compatible with REED and Open Collector systems, which increases its versatility.
Solid construction and reliable operation
MB-PULSE is characterized by high resistance to environmental conditions – a housing with an IP65 protection class provides protection against dust and moisture. Power is supplied from the M-BUS network, and in the event of a power failure, the module switches to battery power (lithium 3V), ensuring continuity of operation. The module dimensions are 89x74x40 mm, and its weight is only 122 g, which makes it easy to install in a limited space. The operating temperature range is from +1°C to +55°C.
