The FLEXSTAR UNO pre-insulated pipe is a comprehensive solution for heating and cooling installations, both in residential and industrial construction. The pipe consists of several key elements: an inner pipe made of cross-linked polyethylene PEX with an EVOH anti-diffusion barrier, polyurethane (PUR) insulation and an outer jacket of high-density polyethylene (LLDPE). This construction provides not only excellent thermal properties, but also resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion.

Construction and properties

FLEXSTAR UNO stands out for its exceptional flexibility thanks to the corrugated outer jacket. This allows for easy laying of the pipe even in tight spaces, without the need for additional elbows or fittings. A small bending radius (0.3 mm) is a great convenience during installation, especially in hard-to-reach places. The use of PUR foam as insulation minimizes heat loss – the thermal conductivity coefficient is only 0.298 W/(m·K). In addition, the pipe has an EVOH anti-diffusion barrier, which protects against oxygen penetration into the installation and corrosion of metal elements.

The pipe is designed to operate at a maximum temperature of 80°C (continuous) and 95°C (temporary) and a working pressure of 6 bar. Made of high-quality materials, it meets the standards of DIN EN 15632-2 and DIN 4726, which guarantees its reliability and long service life. It is also worth noting its resistance to UV radiation – the outer jacket is designed to withstand atmospheric conditions.
