BWT AQUATEST general (total) hardness tester 240011024
Product features
- Quick and accurate water hardness testing
The BWT AQUATEST general hardness tester is a user-friendly kit that allows you to independently determine the hardness of water in your home. This allows for a precise diagnosis and selection of the appropriate water treatment system, as well as monitoring the efficiency of existing softening installations. Instead of sending samples to a laboratory, you can check the water quality at any time.
The kit contains everything you need to perform the test: a test vessel, a bottle of reagent A and a bottle of reagent B. The procedure is intuitive – add the reagents to the water sample and count the drops until the color changes. Each drop corresponds to one degree of German hardness (°d).
Who is this tester for?
This tester is an ideal solution for both installers and end users. Installers can use it to assess the water quality at the customer's premises and to properly configure the softener. End users gain the ability to regularly monitor water hardness and take care of the optimal operation of devices protecting against scale build-up. Regular testing (every 2-3 months) allows you to continuously monitor the efficiency of the softener and make any necessary adjustments.
Why choose BWT AQUATEST?
- Easy to use: Does not require specialized knowledge or equipment.
- Fast result: The test can be performed in a few minutes.
- Reusable: The kit is sufficient for a dozen or so to several dozen tests, depending on the water hardness.
- Accuracy: Allows precise determination of water hardness in German degrees (°d).
- Measurement range: Allows measurement of hardness in the range of 1-40°d.
- Essential for softeners: Helps in the optimal setting and control of water softeners.
- Long shelf life: The kit retains its properties for 24 months from the date of manufacture.
Remember that regular control of water hardness is key to protecting the water installation and household appliances from scale build-up, as well as ensuring comfortable use of drinking water.
