Adjustable thermostatic mixing valve for centralized systems. Body made of zinc alloy resistant to zinc leaching 1 35÷65°C 523160
Comfort and safety regulation in central heating systems
This adjustable thermostatic mixing valve is designed for use in centralized heating systems where maintaining a constant domestic hot water temperature is crucial. Its main task is to precisely mix hot and cold water, ensuring thermal comfort and protecting the installation from excessively high temperatures. This valve is particularly useful in multi-family buildings or commercial facilities with extensive heating networks.
The valve is distinguished by its solid construction – the body is made of a special zinc alloy resistant to corrosion, which guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation even in difficult conditions. The internal regulating element, made of technopolymer, is protected against scale build-up, which minimizes the risk of malfunctions and extends the life of the device.
Application and functionality
The mixing valve of the 5231 series works perfectly in domestic hot water installations where a stable water temperature is required regardless of changes at the inlet. It allows you to set the desired temperature in the range of 35°C to 65°C with an accuracy of ±2°C. This avoids burns and provides optimal conditions for devices connected to the installation. The maximum working pressure is 14 bar, and the maximum water temperature at the inlet is 90°C, making it suitable for most standard heating systems.
Construction and installation
The valve is designed for easy installation and maintenance. It has standard connections (from 1/2” to 2” GZ), which facilitates integration with the existing installation. There are clear color markings on the body – red for hot water and blue for cold – which minimizes the risk of errors during connection. It is recommended to install check valves on the inlet of hot and cold water to prevent backflow and ensure proper system operation. Regular performance checks of the valve will help maintain its optimal operation for a long time. If there are problems with the mixed water temperature, it is worth checking the operation of the check valves and making sure that the installation is free of contaminants.
