Cable pulling lubricant – simplifying installation

GLISS WMM is a specialized lubricant gel designed to significantly facilitate and accelerate the process of pulling power and telecommunication cables (including copper) into conduits and cable ducts. Its unique water and glycol-based formula reduces friction between the cable and the surface over which it is pulled – by up to 80%, resulting in less effort during installation and the ability to overcome greater distances. This solution is suitable for both new installations and the replacement of existing cables.

Properties and application

GLISS WMM gel is a white gel with a neutral pH and a density of 1 g/cm³. It is easy to apply, even in a vertical position – it does not drip or lose its properties. After the water evaporates, it leaves a durable layer of lubricant that facilitates future service work or cable replacement. Because it is non-toxic, non-flammable and biodegradable, it is safe for the user and the environment. It can be used in a wide range of temperatures – from -15°C to 50°C.

Method of use and additional information

GLISS WMM can be applied directly to the cable using a sponge before inserting it into the conduit, or evenly spread inside the conduit before blowing the cable (particularly useful for fiber optic installations). It is available in 5 kg (bucket) containers, as well as larger capacities (15kg and 25kg). Remember to shake the bottle thoroughly before use to ensure optimal consistency of the preparation.
