This product, known as GLISS S LUB 10, is a specialized agent that facilitates the blowing and pulling of fiber optic cables, especially mini and micro cables. Its unique water-based, low-viscosity formula significantly reduces friction between the cable and the duct, resulting in faster and less demanding installation. This allows both installers and end-users to rely on efficient project execution.

Properties and application

GLISS S LUB 10 adheres to the surface of the cable and duct, creating a thin lubricating layer. This is crucial because it prevents the cable from sticking to the duct walls, which could hinder future maintenance or replacements. The agent is particularly recommended for use with blowers, but can also be used to directly lubricate cables before or behind the device – depending on the type of drive wheel (metal or rubber). It is worth remembering that the actual consumption of the agent depends on the condition and length of the duct.

Practical application tips

To achieve optimal results, it is recommended to place a few-centimeter sponge roller inside the microduct. Before use, shake the bottle vigorously and introduce the appropriate amount of agent into the duct. Then, plug the end of the duct with a sponge and start blowing to evenly distribute the agent on the surface of the microduct. The approximate consumption of the agent depending on the diameter of the duct is presented below:

For microducts with a diameter of 4 mm, it is recommended to use 5 ml of the agent, filling about 28-32 cm of the duct. For microducts with a diameter of 8 mm, the appropriate amount is 9 ml, filling about 16-20 cm of the duct. For microducts with a diameter of 12 mm, it is recommended to use 14 ml of the agent, filling about 10-14 cm of the duct.

The agent is available in practical packaging: 1 kg bottles and 5 kg cans, allowing you to adjust the amount of product to the needs of a specific project.
