The CTS 630A angled connector termination is an advanced device for connecting single-core cables with extruded insulation in medium voltage installations. Designed in accordance with EN 50180 and EN 50181 standards, it utilizes a Type C interface with an external tapered thread, ensuring a reliable connection in switchgear and transformers.

Construction and technical compatibility

The device supports conductors with cross-sections from 25 to 70 mm² at a rated voltage U0/U(Um) of 12/20(24) kV. The shielded construction guarantees effective protection against electromagnetic interference. The screw connection allows for secure conductor fastening without the need for specialized tools.

Compatibility includes all types of single-core cables with PE, VPE, and EPR insulation and various conductive coatings - graphite-coated, shrinkable, or scraped. It works with both wire and tape screens on the insulation.

The kit contains a complete package for three phases along with EGA screw ends and all mounting elements. It includes silicone stress relief elements, a grounding set, and fastening materials. The entire unit is delivered as a ready-to-install kit.
