Expansion anchor BA plus 10×92 – precise fastening in concrete and wood
The BAP 10×92 anchor is a component designed for demanding applications where stability, precision and compliance with standards are critical. It is one of the most versatile anchors in the BA plus series – ideal for fastening wooden structures to uncracked concrete, as well as for other structural applications in dense natural stone (up to M8).
Its design is based on a rounded expansion cone, which greatly simplifies installation – especially with through‑hole driving – minimizing the risk of jamming or damage during fitting. The high hardness of the thread and screw, achieved by cold forming, guarantees durability and wear resistance even after multiple installations.
It features a long thread (17 mm), allowing flexible adaptation to the thickness of the mounted element – e.g., wooden beams or OSB panels – without the need for additional nuts or washers. It works with a large washer compliant with ISO 7094 (DIN 440), ensuring an even load distribution and minimal risk of wood splitting.
All BA plus anchors have a yellow installation‑depth marker – a simple yet effective way to ensure correct drilling depth. No manual measurement is required: just drive the anchor until the marker disappears into the hole. This saves installer time and eliminates errors caused by incorrect depth.
The ETA Option 7 approval confirms its safety and strength in uncracked C20/25 concrete – both under tensile load (7.6 kN) and shear load (8.5 kN). These values incorporate a safety factor γF = 1.4. For higher concrete classes (up to C50/55) the loads can increase by up to 55 %.
Installation requires a torque of 30 Nm and a 17 mm wrench (SW17). The through‑hole diameter in the mounted element is 12 mm, and the minimum thickness of the wooden construction is 75 mm. Minimum distance from the concrete edge is 90 mm, and from other anchors 120 mm.
The anchor is available in a hot‑dip galvanized (HD) version, providing corrosion resistance in humid or salt‑exposed conditions. For aggressive environments, stainless‑steel versions A2 and A4 are also offered.
Applications:
fastening roof and floor beams to concrete foundations
installing wooden frames on foundations
fixing load‑bearing structures in residential and industrial construction
installations requiring certified strength (e.g., balconies, stairs, window sills)
No special hole preparation is needed – a standard 12 mm drilling diameter is sufficient. No adhesive or additional retaining elements are required.
