Segment anchor BA plus for concrete and wooden structures
Anchor BAP 12x130 is a mounting element designed for durable and safe fastening in uncracked concrete, in accordance with ETA option 7. Its construction allows use in both axial and transverse loads – ideal for fastening beams, rails, frames or other structural elements.
High precision results from cold forming of the screw and thread – guaranteeing durability and wear resistance. The rounded expansion cone eases driving the anchor even in difficult conditions and also ensures uniform force distribution in the substrate. The long thread (130 mm) provides flexibility during installation – allowing adaptation to the thickness of the target material, even for thick wooden elements.
The washer with a diameter of 24 mm (compliant with ISO 7094 / DIN 440) spreads the load over a larger area, reducing the risk of damage to wood or other base materials. The yellow marker on the anchor body indicates the optimal embedment depth – allowing avoidance of mounting errors without additional measurements. The thread is protected during driving, preventing damage and difficulties when later tightening.
Installation requires a torque of 50 Nm and a hole diameter of 12 mm. Effective embedment depth is 70 mm – sufficient for most applications in concrete class C20/25 and higher. The anchor is galvanized, providing corrosion resistance in humid or outdoor conditions.
Load values for this version (M12) are a maximum axial force of 11.4 kN and a bending moment of 9.5 Nm – making it suitable for medium and large structural loads. Minimum edge distances: 90 mm in the axial direction, 70 mm transversely – these must be observed for full strength.
Applications
- fastening wooden structures to concrete floors or walls
- installation of guide rails, load‑bearing frames, scaffolding
- installation of heavy equipment (e.g., air‑conditioning, ventilation)
- attaching architectural elements to foundations
No special equipment required – a standard drill with a 19 mm wrench socket is sufficient. Installation is quick, dust‑free (compared with chemical anchors) and does not require curing time.
