Segment anchor BA plus 16x135 – solid fixing in uncracked concrete

The anchor is designed for durable and safe fixing in uncracked concrete, with ETA Option 7 approval – meaning its load capacity has been validated by a European technical assessment. It is not a typical expansion anchor – its construction, including a rounded expansion cone, facilitates installation even in difficult conditions, e.g., for through fixing or in confined spaces.

High manufacturing precision results from cold forming of the screw and thread – the materials are harder, more wear‑resistant and retain the installation torque better. The long thread (135 mm) allows flexible adaptation to the thickness of the material being fastened, which is especially useful when installing wooden structures or elements with variable thickness.

All BA plus anchors feature a yellow depth marker – it enables quick and precise drilling to the correct depth (110 mm), while protecting the thread from damage during driving. This not only saves installer time but also eliminates the risk of improper setting.

A 30 mm diameter washer (compliant with ISO 7094 / DIN 440) distributes the load over a larger area – ideal for fastening wood, sheet metal or other low‑shear‑strength materials. When installed in C20/25 concrete, the anchor withstands up to 12.7 kN tension and 28.6 kN shear, and the installation torque is 90 Nm – a value clearly higher than for smaller diameters.

Installation requires a hole of 18 mm diameter and a minimum depth of 110 mm. Minimum edge distance from the concrete surface is 128 mm, and spacing between anchors should be at least 255 mm – these parameters are crucial for maintaining full load capacity. It is not recommended for use in dense natural stone.

The anchor is available in galvanized steel – resistant to corrosion in dry and moderately humid conditions. It is not suitable for applications exposed to salt or aggressive chemical environments.
