Segment anchor BA plus 16x220 – solid mounting in concrete, with large washer for wooden structures

The anchor is designed for durable and safe fastening in uncracked concrete, with ETA Option 7 certification – confirming its proven load capacity under service conditions. High manufacturing precision results from cold forming of the screw and thread, providing lasting hardness and wear resistance.

The long thread (220 mm) allows flexible installation even with thick attached elements, and the rounded expansion cone eases insertion – especially for through‑hole mounting. A yellow indicator on the anchor body visually shows the correct embedment depth, eliminating installation errors and ensuring optimal use of load capacity.

For wooden structures a large washer compliant with ISO 7094 (DIN 440) is available, distributing the load and preventing wood crushing. Technical support for this size includes tensile capacity up to 11.9 kN and shear capacity up to 14.6 kN in concrete C20/25 – values confirmed by certificate.

Installation requires a torque of 90 Nm and a hole of 18 mm diameter. Minimum thickness of the attached element is 100 mm, and minimum edge distance (128 mm) and spacing between anchors (255 mm) must be observed – exceeding these values reduces load capacity.

The anchor is zinc‑coated – corrosion‑resistant, suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. No additional surface treatment is required before installation.
