Anchor BAP 16x270 – robust fastening in concrete and wood

The segment anchor BA Plus 16x270 is a solution intended for durable and safe fastening of structures in uncracked concrete – especially where high load capacity and installation flexibility are required. It is one of the most advanced anchors in the BA Plus series, approved by ETA for option 7, meaning it meets technical requirements for structural applications in concrete class C20/25 and higher.

High tensile capacity (11.9 kN) and shear capacity (14.6 kN) make the anchor suitable for fixing heavy elements – from wooden frames to metal structures. The large washer (150 mm) provides stable load distribution when installed in wood, and the long thread (270 mm) allows precise adaptation to the thickness of the mounted element – even on irregular surfaces.

Installation is simple thanks to the yellow marker on the anchor body – it shows the exact embedment depth, eliminating the risk of under‑ or over‑driving. The rounded expansion cone eases insertion of the anchor into the hole, even in through‑hole installations. For the installer this means faster work and fewer errors; for the end user – a guarantee of connection durability.

The anchor is made of galvanized steel – corrosion‑resistant, allowing use both in dry indoor spaces and in outdoor conditions. No additional protection or maintenance is required.
