Segment anchor BA plus 6x45 – precise mounting in concrete

Kotwa BAP 6x45 is a solution intended for durable and safe fastening in uncracked concrete – especially where high precision and ease of installation are required. Its rounded expansion cone allows easy and secure installation even in difficult conditions, e.g., for through‑mounting, where other anchors may jam.

High screw and thread hardness, achieved by cold forming, guarantees wear resistance and retention torque throughout the service life. The effective embedment length (25 mm) and drilling depth (38 mm) are optimized for loads in concrete class C20/25 – making it ideal for fastening light structures such as troughs, cables, suspensions, or wooden elements.

The CNBOP certificate confirms compliance with Polish building requirements, and the ETA Option 7 approval for uncracked concrete guarantees that load‑bearing parameters have been verified by an independent technical body. Load values for this version (1.5 kN axial force and 1.5 kN shear force) are recommended for short‑length anchors – sufficient for most residential construction and light industry applications.

Installation is simple: hole diameter 6 mm, depth 38 mm, insert the anchor and tighten the screw with a 10 mm wrench to 8 Nm. No additional components are required – it functions as a single unit. The absence of a large washer makes it ideal where space is limited, e.g., when fastening thin sheets or elements with small thickness (minimum element thickness: 5 mm).

It is not suitable for cracked concrete or materials other than concrete (e.g., hollow brick or gypsum). For higher loads or larger diameters, consider M8 or M10 models.
