BAP 6x60 Anchor – solid fixing in uncracked concrete

The BAP 6x60 is a segment expansion anchor designed for durable and safe fixing in uncracked concrete. Its construction meets the European Technical Assessment ETA, option 7 – meaning it can be used under static and dynamic loads in accordance with building standards.

High manufacturing precision results from cold‑formed screw and thread – the material is hard, wear‑resistant and does not deform during installation. The yellow marker on the anchor shaft allows the installer to set the embedment depth quickly and accurately – no measuring, no guessing. This reduces errors and speeds up work.

The long thread (10 mm) provides flexible adaptation to the thickness of the mounted element – ideal for thin sheets as well as wooden structures. The 12 mm‑diameter washer complies with ISO 7094 (DIN 440), ensuring an even load distribution on wood without damaging the fibres.

The expanding cone with a rounded profile facilitates through‑hole installation – the anchor slides smoothly into the hole, even if it is slightly dirty or not perfectly drilled. The installation torque is 15 Nm – a 10 mm wrench is sufficient. No special equipment is required.

The effective embedment depth (hef) is 35 mm – the minimum value at which the anchor reaches its designed load capacity. In C20/25 concrete it can withstand up to 3.6 kN tensile force and 3.0 kN shear force, with a bending moment of 4.7 Nm. These values are certified by ETA – they are not estimates.

It can also be used in dense natural stone – although only up to M8 size, while this anchor is M6. In practice: if you have concrete – use it without hesitation. If you have stone – check other models.

Installation is simple: drill a Ø7 mm hole at least 48 mm deep, insert the anchor up to the marker, tighten the screw to 15 Nm torque. No waiting for curing, no adhesive needed. This “dry” solution is fast, clean and weather‑resistant.

The thread is protected during insertion – it is not damaged by hammer blows. This protection works automatically thanks to the tip design.
