Segment anchor BA plus 8x60 – solid fixing in concrete, with long thread and large washer
The anchor is designed for fixing wooden structures to uncracked concrete – suitable for installing frames, floors, and load‑bearing elements. ETA approval option 7 confirms its compliance with European standards for concrete up to class C50/60.
High manufacturing precision results from cold forming of the screw and thread – providing not only greater hardness but also load stability under cyclic loads. The rounded expansion cone facilitates insertion, even in through‑hole installation, and the yellow marker on the body indicates the exact embedment depth – no manual measurement required.
Large washer (compliant with ISO 7094 / DIN 440) distributes load over the wood surface, reducing the risk of cracking when fastening thick boards or beams. The thread is long – allowing flexible adjustment to the thickness of the fastened element, even if the substrate is unevenly compacted or has an insulation layer.
Static load capacity is sufficient to hold elements up to approximately 250 kg – adequate for most wooden structures in residential and industrial construction.
Installation requires a hole 8 mm in diameter and at least 45 mm deep. Tightening torque: 15 Nm – a standard electric screwdriver with a torque limiter is sufficient. No specialized equipment is needed.
The body is coated with galvanic zinc – resistant to corrosion in dry and moderately humid conditions. It is not suitable for direct contact with salt or seawater – but this is not an issue in residential or warehouse buildings.
No additional thread protection is required during insertion – its tip is designed not to damage the thread. This saves installer time and eliminates the risk of damage when installing in hard‑to‑reach locations.
