Segment anchor BA plus 8x135 – precise mounting in concrete with long thread and installation marker
The BA plus 8x135 anchor (98135BAP) is a solution intended for permanent fastening of wooden structures and other elements in uncracked concrete. It has been designed with practical installation and high loads in mind — both for the installer and the end user.
High manufacturing precision results from cold‑forming the screw and thread, guaranteeing durability and wear resistance. The rounded expansion cone eases driving the anchor even in difficult conditions, and the yellow marker on the body allows exact setting of the installation depth — no manual measuring is required, just watch when the marker disappears below the concrete surface.
The M8 thread is extended to 135 mm, providing flexibility for fastening thick components — e.g., wooden beams or floor rails. The 16 mm‑diameter washer complies with ISO 7094 (DIN 440), distributes the load and prevents damage to the wood. All this is in full compliance with the ETA Option 7 approval — the only technical certification for this type of anchor in uncracked concrete.
Installation is simple: drill an Ø8 mm hole, hammer the anchor to a depth of 60 mm (hef ≥ 45 mm), tighten the screw to a torque of 15 Nm. No additional tools or specialised knowledge are required. Remember: the minimum thickness of the mounted element is 70 mm, and the distance from the concrete edge must be at least 50 mm — these values are critical for safety.
The anchor is galvanised — corrosion‑resistant, suitable for indoor use and mildly moisture‑exposed environments. No extra protective covers or coatings are needed.
In practice:
Ideal for fastening wooden floors to concrete beams
Used for installing structural frames in residential construction
Frequently chosen when replacing old anchors — it fits existing holes
Operates safely even under dynamic loads (e.g., sliding doors, machinery)
There is no room for compromise: if you need an anchor that works as it should — quiet, reliable, and free from pull‑out after years of service — this is the one.
