BAP Anchor 8×85 – solid concrete mounting with precise installation

The BA plus segment anchor 8×85 is designed for durable and safe fixing in uncracked concrete, with confirmed technical approval ETA (option 7). This is not a typical anchor – its construction allows high axial and transverse loads, while also simplifying installation even under difficult conditions.

High hardness and precise thread result from cold forming, ensuring durability and wear resistance. The bolt features a long thread (M8), providing flexibility for fastening elements of varying thickness – ideal, for example, for wooden structures, frames, or sheet metal.

The rounded expansion cone simplifies insertion – perfect centering of the hole is not required, as the anchor self‑expands in the concrete. This significantly reduces the risk of installation errors, especially when working manually or in tight spaces.

All BA plus anchors have a yellow installation‑depth marker – simply drive the anchor until the marker disappears into the concrete. This is not a “hint”, it is a guaranteed depth control – no measuring needed. Threads are protected during insertion, so you won’t damage them against the hole edges.

For wooden constructions a large washer compliant with ISO 7094 (DIN 440) is available – it distributes the load, preventing wood cracking. Loads are matched to the requirements for mounting in uncracked concrete – this value has been confirmed by the CNBOP certificate and European technical assessment. Installation requires a hole with a diameter of 8 mm and a depth of at least 60 mm. Minimum distance from the concrete edge is 50 mm, and the minimum substrate thickness is 100 mm.

There is no room for compromise:

• Do not use it in cut concrete
• Do not install in natural stone (unless it is dense and homogeneous)
• Do not attempt to use it as a passing element without the appropriate washer

This is a tool for the installer who knows that correct mounting is not only about hand force – it also requires knowledge of parameters and the right equipment.
