Segment anchor BAZ 12x118 galvanized – solid fixing in concrete, with ETA approval

The BAZ 12x118 galvanized anchor is a construction element designed for fixing in concrete, both intact and cracked – with confirmed ETA approval, including for seismic loads (category C1). It is not a typical screw anchor – it is a solution approved by the European Technical Assessment system, which means its behaviour under load is verified and predictable.

The total length of the anchor is 118 mm, and the effective embedment depth is 70 mm. This means that after drilling a hole with a minimum depth of 90 mm and a diameter of 12 mm, the anchor reaches its full load capacity. No guessing is required – these values are defined in the certificate. Installation requires a torque of 20 Nm – a standard wrench is sufficient, no actuator or special equipment is needed.

The galvanizing provides corrosion resistance in service conditions – suitable for indoor and outdoor installations where there is no exposure to salts or chlorides. It is not intended for aggressive environments, but for residential buildings, warehouses or municipal facilities it operates safely and long‑term.

High load capacity with small edge distances allows mounting close to concrete edges – the minimum edge distance is 55 mm. This is a significant advantage where space is limited. No need to drill larger holes or redesign simply because space is scarce.

One anchor fits various concrete classes – from C20/25 to C50/60. In higher concrete classes the capacity increases by up to 31 %. This is not an “approximation” – it is a certified result. No need to look for alternatives for other concrete classes – this anchor works in all of them.
