BAZ anchor 12x118 steel A4 – solution for difficult mounting locations

Segmental BAZ anchor with an extremely long thread allows flexible fastening even in situations where space is limited – e.g., when installing close to the edge of concrete or in thin elements. Length 118 mm and effective drilling depth 70 mm provide stability without the need to increase edge clearances.

High load capacity in both types of concrete – both cracked and uncracked – means you do not have to choose between different models depending on substrate condition. This is crucial for installers working on old structures where the concrete quality cannot always be predicted before drilling.

ETA certificate and CNBOP approval confirm that the anchor meets European requirements for structural fixings, also under seismic load (category C1). This is not an ordinary anchor – it is designed for applications where safety and predictability are priorities.

Installation is simpler than with other anchors: less force required to expand the segments means less effort when using a hand or battery‑powered tool. High corrosion resistance (steel A4) makes the anchor suitable for outdoor use, in humid rooms, or where long‑term durability is required.

Minimum edge distance is 55 mm, and minimum spacing between anchors is 60 mm. This allows denser placement without loss of capacity – especially useful when fastening cabinets, load‑bearing structures or industrial components in confined spaces.

Note: although the anchor is designed for concrete C20/25 and higher, its load capacity increases by up to 31 % with higher concrete classes. Therefore you do not need to “over‑size” – this anchor works efficiently under standard conditions.
