BAZ 16x123 galvanized anchor – concrete solution with ETA approval

BAZ 16x123 galvanized anchor is a segment anchor bolt designed for structural fastening in concrete — both intact and grouted. Its design allows safe use even in difficult installation locations where limited space or a close concrete edge present a challenge. This capability is confirmed by the European ETA approval, and its acceptance in Poland has been issued by CNBOP — the only certificate listed by the manufacturer.

The M16 thread is extended, providing flexibility during installation — it enables adjustment of the mounted element’s position even with very thin sheets (up to 5 mm thickness). The effective embedment depth is 85 mm, and the minimum edge distance from the concrete is 85 mm — both parameters are independent and must be observed simultaneously. The concrete hole diameter is 16 mm, matching the anchor’s diameter.

The product is made of galvanized steel, ensuring corrosion resistance in humid conditions. It does not operate as a “self‑locking” device — its action relies on segment expansion during installation, creating a stable resistance in the concrete. Installation requires proper drilling and screw tightening — there is no automatic locking.
