Kotwa BAZ 6x40 zinc‑plated is a solution for installers who need a reliable yet easy‑to‑install element for anchoring in concrete. Its segmented construction provides stable securing even in older, cracked or deteriorated concrete – without the need for additional reinforcements or special tools.

The long M6 thread (40 mm) offers flexibility during installation – you can easily adjust the embedment depth to avoid obstacles inside the slab or achieve the optimal distance from the edge. This is especially useful in tight spaces where other anchors would require precise drilling and do not allow correction.

High load resistance and a low minimum edge distance (50 mm) make it suitable where other elements would be too large or risky. In practice this means: fewer holes, fewer errors, more mounting possibilities in confined areas.

ETA approval and CNBOP certification confirm compliance with European safety standards – this is not a “regular” anchor, but an element verified for static and seismic loads. In other words, you can rely on its performance not only in new constructions but also in renovations, modernisations, or when fixing heavy items (e.g., cabinets, load‑bearing structures).

The zinc plating provides corrosion resistance in dry and moderately humid conditions – sufficient for most indoor and outdoor applications not exposed to direct water contact. If greater resistance is required, A4 and HD versions are available.

Installation is simple: 6 mm hole, insert to a depth of 35 mm (or more – the thread allows adjustment), then tighten the screw. No special technique or high torque is needed – which eases the work for both experienced installers and beginners.

This is one of the few M6 anchors that have proven load capacity in both cracked (cracked concrete) and intact concrete – meaning stability even with poorly made holes or non‑standard materials.
