For installation in concrete – even in difficult conditions

The BAZ 8×72 galvanized anchor is designed for safe fastening in cracked and unspalled concrete, certified by the European approval ETA Option 1. This ensures reliable operation even where standard anchors fail – e.g., with close edge distances or in old, cracked structures.

Why it works better than others?

• Long M8 thread allows flexible installation with spacing – ideal when the mounted element is 10 mm thick and you need room for a washer or nut.

• Special press‑fit geometry with a rounded cone eases insertion through wood or other materials – it does not jam during installation.

• Cooled and precisely molded construction increases thread hardness and durability – it does not wear out with repeated mounting or removal.

• Thread protection against impacts – a specially cooled safeguard on the head prevents thread damage when hammer‑driven.

Where to use it?

• In construction and renovation – fastening rails, consoles, frames, doors, windows, cables or electrical installations in old concrete.

• In tight spaces – minimum edge distance is 50 mm, and minimum spacing between anchors is 50 mm.

• In humid conditions – galvanizing provides corrosion resistance without the need for stainless steel.

What you need to know before installation?

The required hole depth is 60 mm with an 8 mm diameter – only this execution guarantees full load capacity in cracked concrete C20/25 (2.0 kN tensile, 5.0 kN shear) and in unspalled concrete (3.6 kN tensile, 5.7 kN shear). The bending moment must not exceed 12.0 Nm. Installation requires an SW 13 wrench.

No special tools or additional materials are needed – just the proper hole and a hammer. It is one of the few anchors that retain full functionality even with minimal clearances, without reducing load capacity beyond the allowable limits.
