BAP 12x110 Anchor – robust fastening in uncracked concrete
The BAP 12x110 is a segment expansion anchor designed for durable and safe fixing in uncracked concrete, in accordance with ETA Option 7 approval. Its construction allows stable transfer of tensile and shear loads – especially useful when installing large‑pad wooden structures compliant with ISO 7094 (DIN 440).
High manufacturing precision results from cold‑forming the screw and thread, providing hardness and durability even after multiple installations. The rounded expansion cone eases insertion of the anchor – it does not require a perfectly drilled hole, and through‑installation is possible without risking damage to the element.
Why it works well in practice?
Installation depth 70 mm – the minimum effective anchoring depth that guarantees full load capacity in C20/25 concrete. No guessing required – simply drill a hole 90 mm deep.
Yellow depth marker – visible on the anchor surface, allowing the installer to instantly verify that the anchor has been driven to the correct depth. No marker = no safety.
Long M12 thread (110 mm) – provides flexibility when fastening thick wooden or metal elements, without the need for additional nuts or washers.
Torque 50 Nm – requires a 19 mm socket wrench (SW 19). This is not “hand‑tightening” – a proper tool is needed, but the value is well matched to the size and load capacity.
Washer 24 × 2.5 mm – larger than standard, it distributes the load on wood, reducing the risk of cracking when fastening to wooden structures.
What does this mean for the installer?
You don’t have to worry about incorrect depth – the coloured marker acts as an “auto‑stop”. You don’t need special tools – a 19 mm socket wrench is common. You don’t have to fiddle with thread length – 110 mm is sufficient even for thick beams.
For the end user: this is not a “temporary” fixing. It is a structural element that will last for decades. In C20/25 concrete the anchor withstands up to 9.5 kN shear force and 46.8 Nm bending moment – more than enough for roof beams, suspended rails, or structural frames.
All of this without excessive marketing. Only data from the manufacturer’s documentation. No assumptions. No “best solution” claims. Just what works.
