Segment anchor BA plus for uncracked concrete
The anchor is designed for durable and safe fixing in uncracked concrete, with ETA approval option 7 – meaning its load capacity has been validated by a European Technical Assessment. It is a key element for structures requiring high reliability, e.g., when installing beams, slabs, or wooden components on a concrete substrate.
High manufacturing precision results from cold‑forming the screw and thread – this ensures the anchor maintains consistent quality even under heavy loads. The rounded expansion cone eases insertion into the hole, especially in through‑hole installations where depth control is difficult.
A long M12 thread allows flexible adaptation to the thickness of the mounted element – no need to source special versions for different sheet or wood thicknesses. In this model (12 × 150 mm) the maximum thickness of the mounted element is 50 mm, and the effective embedment depth is 70 mm. Installation requires a hole 12 mm in diameter and 90 mm deep.
A yellow marker on the anchor body acts as a visual limit, showing when the correct embedment depth has been reached. This eliminates the risk of improper installation and protects the thread from damage during hammering. A 44 mm washer (compliant with ISO 7094 / DIN 440) distributes the load over a larger area – especially useful when fastening wood, where the risk of cracking is higher.
The anchor is galvanized – corrosion‑resistant, making it suitable for both dry indoor spaces and outdoor conditions. No additional surface protection is required.
For the installer – simplicity and control
Installation does not require specialized equipment – a screwdriver or a wrench with a 50 Nm torque setting is sufficient. All parameters are clearly defined: hole depth (90 mm), effective embedment length (70 mm), minimum substrate thickness (160 mm). There is no room for interpretation errors.
A further advantage is the 20‑piece packaging – ideal for construction teams that need a large quantity of uniform elements without having to store multiple sizes.
For the end user – safety and durability
This is not a “quick‑hang anchor” – it is a structural component. When you mount roof frames, floor beams, or a wooden structure on a concrete slab, this anchor provides a load capacity of 11.4 kN axial and 9.5 kN shear in C20/25 concrete. These values are confirmed by CNBOP and ETA certificates – they are not estimates or marketing figures.
If a project requires structural fastening in concrete, this anchor meets all technical and legal requirements.
