BAZ 10x92 galvanized anchor – solid concrete fastening, even in difficult conditions

The BAZ 10x92 galvanized segment anchor is a solution intended for durable and safe fastening in concrete – both in intact and cracked structures. Its design allows installation in locations with limited edge clearance, where other anchors cannot meet load requirements.

The long M10 thread enables flexible adaptation to the thickness of the mounted element – no additional washers or position adjustments are needed. This is especially useful when mounting on walls, ceilings or structures with thin substrates.

An advantage is the low force required to set the anchor – the installer does not need to apply high torque, reducing the risk of concrete damage during insertion. The installation torque Tinst is 20 Nm, compatible with typical hand and battery tools.

The anchor meets the European Technical Assessment ETA, meaning its load capacity has been verified for various concrete types (including C20/25) and seismic conditions (category C1). In intact concrete it provides a tensile capacity up to 7.9 kN, and in cracked concrete up to 4.8 kN. These values are based on laboratory testing and are not estimates.

The minimum edge distance is 50 mm, and the minimum spacing between anchors is 55 mm. Exceeding these limits reduces load capacity – but this precision makes the anchor suitable for installation in tight spaces, e.g., near slab edges or openings.

The galvanized finish ensures corrosion resistance in dry and moderately humid environments. For aggressive conditions (e.g., outdoors or in pools) consider the A4 or HD version – however, this galvanized version is optimal for most indoor and industrial applications.

Installation requires only a proper hole with a diameter of 10 mm and a depth of at least 75 mm. No additional adhesives or chemical systems are needed – a screwdriver and the appropriate insert are sufficient. This makes it a fast and predictable solution for installers working on a large scale.
