Segment anchor BAZ 16x138 galvanized – concrete mounting with verified load capacity in both substrate types

The BAZ 16x138 galvanized anchor is a solution intended for static mounting of structures in concrete, both uncracked and cracked. Its design is engineered to provide stability even under seismic conditions, as confirmed by ETA approval and CNBOP certification.

The anchor length (138 mm) and embedment depth (85 mm) allow flexible adaptation of the installation to the thickness of the mounted element. The long thread facilitates precise positioning, especially when installed with a larger offset from the edge. Minimum edge distance is 85 mm, and minimum spacing between anchors is 70 mm, enabling use in tight spaces without loss of load capacity.

Installation requires a standard 24 mm wrench and no specialized tools. The force needed to set the anchor is lower than in other segment systems – reducing manual effort and minimizing installation error risk.

The anchor is made of galvanized steel, providing corrosion resistance in typical environmental conditions. There is no data confirming its suitability for aggressive chemical or marine environments – therefore additional protection cannot be assumed unnecessary.

It is one of the few solutions approved by ETA for both concrete types: gerissenen (cracked) and ungerissen (uncracked). This means its load capacity is verified regardless of substrate condition – without the need for extra calculations or assumptions.
