Universal and Safe Anchoring in Concrete – Even in Difficult Conditions
The BTS B 10x240 concrete screw is a solution designed for installers who require reliable, deep, and secure anchoring in both cracked and uncracked concrete. Approved by CNBOP and compliant with ETA approval, it can be used in structures requiring high fire resistance – R120 – making it suitable even for critical applications where fire safety is a priority.
The special thread geometry and high material hardness enable stable and repeatable anchoring without the need for additional washers – the integrated washer with a 20 mm diameter ensures even load distribution. This eliminates concerns about shifts or improper alignment, resulting in faster installation and reduced susceptibility to errors.
Adaptation to Installation Conditions – Three Anchoring Depths
The ability to choose one of three anchoring depths (65 mm / 85 mm / 95 mm) provides flexibility when working with varying thicknesses of attached materials. If the mounted element is thicker than planned – simply add an adjustment washer, and the screw can be reused. This not only saves time but also eliminates the need to replace the anchor with a longer one.
The screw can be completely removed after installation – making it an ideal solution for temporary fixings or situations where later correction is necessary. It does not generate concrete expansion during installation, allowing mounting close to edges – the minimum edge distance is only 35 mm.
Corrosion Resistance and Durability in Extreme Conditions
The zinc-aluminum (ZnAl) coating significantly outperforms standard galvanization in terms of corrosion resistance – particularly important for outdoor applications or in humid environments. The screw is also approved for use in seismic zones C1, confirming its stability under dynamic loads.
For the installer: an impact wrench up to 400 Nm is sufficient for proper installation – no specialized equipment is required. For the end user: no need for additional components (washers, nuts), low sensitivity to installation errors, and confirmed tensile strength (up to 5.7 kN in uncracked concrete) guarantee long-term performance.
The screw works in both C20/25 concrete and higher classes (up to C50/60), where its load-bearing capacity increases by up to 55%. No special hole preparation is required – simply drill a hole with a diameter of 13–14 mm.
