Concrete screw with M8 thread, designed for insulated structures
The BTS E 6x175 screw with external M8 thread is a solution dedicated to mounting in insulated concrete slabs where the insulation layer thickness exceeds 120 mm. Thanks to the extended length (175 mm) and a specially designed connection thread, it allows direct attachment of rails, pipe sleeves or electrical profiles without the need for additional anchors or threaded rods.
Installation is performed in two steps: first a hole is drilled with a special SDS+ drill Ø6 mm, then – with the same tool – the element is screwed in. No waiting for curing, no additional parts required – a suitable SW10 socket wrench is sufficient. This significantly reduces installation time and eliminates the risk of error during system assembly.
Two anchoring depths – greater flexibility and safety
The product can be set to two depths: 140 mm or 125 mm. Choosing the smaller depth (125 mm) reduces the risk of striking reinforcement bars – especially important when working on prefabricated slabs or in old structures where reinforcement location is unknown. High corrosion resistance is provided by a zinc‑aluminum coating, which protects against moisture and chemicals in the construction environment.
ETA and CNBOP approvals – proven reliability
The screw holds European technical approval ETA and the Polish CNBOP certificate, meaning it is approved for multiple use in non‑structural applications – even in cracked concrete C20/25 to C50/60. It is also approved for installation on prefabricated channel plates with slab thickness ≥35 mm. No additional testing or designer acceptance is required for standard loads.
