Concrete screw with M6 thread, designed for fast and repeated installation

The BTS E 6x195 screw with external M6 thread is a solution intended for non‑structural applications in cracked and uncracked concrete, as well as in prefabricated channel plates. Its design allows a two‑stage installation — drilling and tightening — using the same tool, which significantly speeds up the installer’s work. The M6 thread enables direct attachment of rails, profiles, brackets or other fastening elements without the need for additional nuts or fittings.

The zinc‑aluminum coating provides high corrosion resistance, which is important in humid or outdoor conditions. Thanks to this, the screw retains its integrity even after prolonged use — it does not lose holding force nor undergo surface degradation.

Installation and application flexibility

The screw offers two possible embedment depths: 35 mm or 50 mm. This allows adaptation to different concrete thicknesses and avoidance of reinforcement bars — especially with a shallower embedment. Drilling requires a special SDS+ drill Ø6 mm, 175 mm long, and tightening is performed with a socket wrench SW10. Use of an impact screwdriver is recommended — the system works quickly without changing tools.

The screw can be completely removed after installation — making it ideal for temporary or modifiable installations. The M6 thread at the end enables easy attachment of internally threaded components or screwing on nuts, providing flexibility in selecting fittings.

Compliance and safety

The product has ETA approval and CNBOP certification, confirming its safety and compliance with European standards for concrete anchoring elements. It is approved for multiple‑use — it does not lose parameters after dismantling and re‑installation. Minimum edge distance is 150 mm, and minimum spacing between screws is 160 mm — these values are critical when designing the fastening layout.

The screw is not suitable for structural applications, but it works excellently for mounting ventilation rails, cables, fluorescent tubes, balustrades or other low‑level static loads.
